Sorry for the blank post—as you can tell, I’m new at this.
First, on the front page of the New York times today there’s a splendid photo essay “A Visual Tour of New York’s Legendary Literary Hangout,” a lot of wonderful pictures of writers you know in their native habitats.
Second, for those of you out of the media loop, the Netflix series “The Chair” is worth seeing. It’s both funny and sometimes anguishing to old farts like me who are in the oldest group of the generational warfare it depicts among students, younger faculty, and those close to retirement.
Third, Ed Rivers has a perceptive comment on this week’s WCW post. I’m trying for a more participatory blog for next week, so everyone please attend!
